Tsukuba University Acquire AFC U16 Championship Winner

Ex Japan U17 representative Ryonosuke Yada is amongst the few players set to join the presitigous Tsubuka University in 2025.



The promising 18-year-old midfielder decided to part ways with Shimizu S-Pulse to join Tsukuba University in order to study and develop his ability at the same time.


Yada won the U16 AFC Championship with the international squad.


He also gained valuable international experience, being part of the squad for the U17 World Cup.


Former players from the national set-up include Yotaro Nakajima now plays for Sanfrecce Hiroshima first team at the age of eighteen - having scored three goals in the AFC Champions League two.


Another former player, Rento Takaoka is now with Southampton in the Premier League after leaving Nissho Gauken a few days ago.


With the level of Yada's fellow footballers being in high standard, we can expect to see great things from him at University football fixtures.
